Emailed Checks was founded in Tempe, Arizona, in 2017 by two Arizona State University alumni, just steps from the ASU campus where the company continues to thrive today.
Over the years, the Emailed Checks team has grown to include seasoned experts in payments, engineering, development, security, compliance, finance, quality control, and technology. Backed by a dedicated operations team, responsive customer service professionals, and an innovative development group, Emailed Checks delivers advanced payment and statement solutions tailored to modern business needs.

Founder
Mark Greenspan, a Phoenix native, earned his Finance degree from Arizona State University. He began his career at a credit card processing and hosting company, joining as the sixth employee and playing a key role in its growth to over 500 team members. Throughout his early career, Mark held leadership positions in accounting, fraud management, and policy review, where he was instrumental in developing fraud detection systems and compliance protocols.
He later founded Secured Servers, a hosting company that eventually merged into PhoenixNAP. Over 13 successful years—including seven as Vice President—Mark helped drive the company’s expansion and innovation.
In pursuit of delivering next-generation financial tools, Mark went on to found Emailed Checks, focused on creating innovative, efficient, and secure payment solutions.
Operations and Security
Rodney Jacobs, a Phoenix native and U.S. Air Force veteran, served six years as a Geospatial and Imagery Intelligence Analyst, supporting operations in Iraq and Afghanistan. After spending 12 years overseas, he returned to Arizona to complete his education at Arizona State University’s Fulton School of Engineering.
Soon after graduating, Rodney was recruited by Mark Greenspan to help lead the relocation of Emailed Checks to Tempe, Arizona. Today, he serves as the company’s Operations and Development Manager, where he plays a key role in driving operational efficiency and business growth.
Customer Service
Kevin Kelly brings a wealth of experience in bookkeeping, operations management, and customer service to Emailed Checks. With a strong background in accounts payable and receivable, QuickBooks, inventory control, and high-volume production, Kevin consistently drives efficiency and accuracy in financial operations.
As a Senior Advisor at KS Advisory Services, he delivered customized solutions in data management, technical support, and process optimization. His leadership in sales, operations, and warehouse management highlights his ability to streamline logistics and lead high-performing teams.
Kevin’s passion for technology and problem-solving plays a vital role in advancing Emailed Checks’ operational excellence and continued growth.
Human Resources
Nick Randall, an Arizona State University alumnus, brings over 20 years of experience across business, government, and customer service. A U.S. Navy veteran and former Probation Officer with the Maricopa Superior Court, Nick later joined forces with Mark Greenspan at a credit card processing and hosting company, where he successfully trained and managed teams of up to 75 employees.
He holds a Senior Professional in Human Resources – International (SPHRi) certification and brings deep expertise in human resources and team management to his role at Emailed Checks.
